Guilty is Extra Large
One of Detroit's finest, Guilty Simpson was featured in
December 07 issue of XXL magazine. Be on the lookout for
his upcoming album "Ode to the Ghetto" on Stones Throw
Records.
Royce and Mista F.A.B. trade disses
Apparently, after the Allhiphop.com battle
Royce and Mista F.A.B. haven't had nice things to say about
each other. Mista F.A.B. has a diss freestyle called "You
Got Bodied" where he basically rehashes the same subjects D12
addressed during their beef with Royce. Royce has
responded with a few shots at F.A.B. on a freestyle he spit
over Jay-Z's "Blue Magic." Word is that Royce has another clip
loaded and ready to fire that is vicious. Stay tuned.
This could get interesting.
Royce Rocks Allhiphop's Celebrity Rap Battle
Royce 5'9 represented the Midwest in the Allhiphop.com's
celebrity rap battle. Joe Budden was to represent the
East but ended up getting caught in traffic. The Bay
area's Mista F.A.B. represented the West coast. Royce
gave an admirable showing, but Mistah F.A.B. took the crown
with punchline after punchline.
Kori Blake says "Don't Stop"
Kori Blake who at one time was known as Bombshell has a new
video called "Don't Stop" and the joint is blazin' hot.
I have to thank my girl Cocoa of the Hollyhood Clic for
putting me up on it because honestly, I would have slept on
it. Ms. Blake, congrats are due. This is a heater!
On day you people will start believing me when I tell you that
Detroit has the hottest female rappers in the world.
Kori Blake "Don't Stop"
Elzhi and Royce 5'9 recentlly spotted at the Whorehouse
Elzhi of Slum Villlage and Royce 5'9 were recently spotted at
the Whorehouse, the studio owned by Fallen Angels
Entertainment and Paypa Boi Entertainmnet. What were they
doing? Recording a hot joint called "About Time" for Elzhi's
upcomming solo project.
Big Herk set to do big things
Underground legend Big Herk is about to drop a new block
burner called "Playtime is Over." The flyers are in the
streets so be on the look out for that real soon. You know the
big fella keeps it real Detroit and real hood!
ReddBone on VH1
Apparently, the success of the "White Rapper Show" has
inspired the check writers at VH1 to do yet another of their
reality show spinoffs. Instead of white rappers there
will be female rappers. What should make this show of
interest to Detroiters is that our own ReddBone will be own
the show. Those of you that know her know she's quite a
feisty aggressive female. She holds her own in an all
male crew, Raw Collection, so I definitely expect she's
gonna give these young ladies hell! The "Female Rapper
Show" is supposed to jump off in January '08.
Streetz Magazine
I just wanted all my people out there know
that they should check out Streetz magazine, especially my metro
Detroiters. Streetz is a hip hop magazine based in Washington,
DC that's doing it big on an international level. What's so
special about Streetz is that they are supporting Detroit 100%.
Every issue features content from the Motor City that yours truly
